Mission Statement:
Since the International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) began, it has set its activities in conflict areas and has achieved the spreading of objective information gathered from these areas. At the present time, the team continues mine clearance operations being tasked by the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA). As in previous years, in 2005 the International Eurasia Press Fund continued its activity mainly in these directions: Media and Civil Society Development, Peacemaking Actions and Conflictology, Refugees/IDP problems and Community Development. The activity in all directions was evaluated as positive and certain successes were achieved. In 2000-2001 International Eurasia Press Fund conducted the Level One Landmine Survey programs in territories affected by war with the financial support of UNDP. In 2002-2003 a Landmine Impact Survey program occurred in Azerbaijan with financial support of Europe Commission and in partnership with Survey Action Center of the United States of America. In 2001-2003 the "Multifunctional Infoterminal for NGOs in Caucasus region" project occurred with financial support of Denmark Refugees Council. In 2004 the "Mine Victims` Needs Assessment Survey" project occurred with the financial support of European Commission. The "Community Mine Action" team of the IEPF was formed with the financial support of the Japanese Embassy to Azerbaijan and the State Department of USA.
