Cascade will operate on most modern browsers including Internet Explorer 7,8,9+; Mozilla Firefox 10+, Google Chrome 18+, and Safari 4+.  Certain browsers may behave differently or have issues performing certain functions.

Known Issues and some workarounds:

Internet Explorer:

Security Warnings - Internet Explorer may give mixed mode content security warnings.  You should answer "NO" to a question of "Do you want to display secure content only?" popup message in IE.

Mozilla Firefox:

Display of page layout is sometimes off or strange looking in Firefox 23 and greater due to mixed http/https mode content.  Look in your url bar to the left of the address and click the shield to select Disable Protection on This Page from the dropdown.  This article has more details. https://blog.mozilla.org/security/2013/05/16/mixed-content-blocking-in-firefox-aurora/

Cut and Paste - Cut and Paste can be done via keyboard shortcuts always in any browser Command-C and Command-V on a Mac and Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V on a PC.  You may also allow the Clipboard via instructions on this page: http://www.ehow.com/info_12164564_firefox-not-allow-clipboard-access.html

Google Chrome:

Display of page layout is sometimes off or strange looking.  This is due to mixed mode content.  Look in your location bar for a small shield icon on the upper right portion of the page.  Click this shield and select Load Anyway to allow mixed mode operation which loads the Yahoo User Interface library to allow you to view grid based layouts correctly.

Mobile/Tablet:

Cascade does not work with Safari on the iPad or iPhone.  If you wish to use Cascade on an iOS device we recommend downloading the free verison of the Puffin web browser.
