The cross disciplinary minor in sport communication provides students with a view into sports media and sports organization and offers them the chance to consider the varied stakeholders of sports and how sports intersect with many societal issues. Students gain hands-on experience in sports broadcasting, journalism, and public relations.

This minor is open to any student at the university including SCOM majors. 

The requirement for a minor in sport communication is 23-24 credit hours.
