Description of the Major
The major is a part of the Department of Integrated Science and Technology, a program within the College of Integrated Science and Engineering.
By graduating with a degree in geographic science students will be confident in their abilities as a geographer, prepared for a lifetime of learning in geography and have the skills to make a professional contribution to the field. Students will be able to compete successfully in the job market, pursue a graduate degree and be highly qualified for a career in research and developmentequipped for long term success as a professional in the field of geography.

New Freshmen and Transfer Students
Students should declare the Geographic Science major when they register for orientation.

Remain in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0.
