A Message from the Provost

Hello Colleagues,

Are you also looking forward to the eclipse next week? I am, especially after reading this interview with planetarium director Geary Albright. If the event piques your interest, the planetarium offers terrific opportunities to learn more about astronomy.  Their programming, like Science Sunday for Girls, will be focused on the eclipse this weekend.

While it is still light out, I’m delighted to share more stories of faculty success.

I’d love to hear more from faculty and staff with questions or comments. You can email provost@jmu.edu or submit a question anonymously through the Ask the Provost option online. Be sure to have your viewing glasses ready for next week!

Sincerely,

Heather

Question for the Provost?

Academic Affairs faculty and staff can use these feedback features to contact the provost directly about operation of the division.

This is an open line of communication that allows faculty and staff to express their questions, but it is not a substitute from the crucial interactions you have with your academic unit head, department head and dean.

Students should contact AcademicQuestions@jmu.edu with questions.
