LLI Fall 2026 Open House

Please join us for the JMU Lifelong Learning Institute's Fall Open House! 

Date: August 10th, 2026 
Time: Drop in anytime between 1-3pm 
Location: JMU Festival Conference and Student Center, Ballroom, 1301 Carrier Dr, Harrisonburg, VA 22807 

Parking Details 

Parking will be available across the street from the Festival in D3, C12, and R4 lots.  

Please have the Atlantic Union Bank Center (the basketball stadium) on your left and use the crosswalks beyond the JMU Transit Hub shelters to enter Festival through either of the doors shown below.   

The ballroom is on the first floor directly opposite the main entrance.

• Meet instructors and fellow lifelong learners

• Learn how to become a member (or renew your membership) 

• Enjoy light refreshments and welcoming conversation 

Whether you're passionate about history, art, science, music, literature, or hands-on workshops - if you’re curious about it, LLI has a class for it! 

This event is open to members and non-members alike so bring a friend and explore what makes our learning community so special!

Class registration opens Wednesday August 18th! 

Since popular classes can fill very quickly, we suggest you make sure your JMU LLI membership is up to date for the 2026-2027 school year, which can be done when you enroll in your first Fall class!
