Annual membership runs from July 1 to June 30. Membership is $50 — free for new members in their first year. You must be a member to register for courses and events. Upon receipt of membership, members agree to receive all LLI correspondence via email.

JMU LLI class cost is based on the number of sessions:

• 1 Session — $25
• 2 Sessions — $30
• 3 Sessions — $35
• 4 Sessions — $40
• 5 Sessions — $45
• 6 Sessions — $50

Some classes will also have additional fees to cover supplies used during the class. These are collected by the instructor, typically on the first day of class.

LLI refunds class fees under these circumstances:

• When a class is cancelled
• When a member withdraws 7 days before the start of a class

LLI refunds bus fees under these circumstances:

• When a bus trip is cancelled
• When a member withdraws from a bus trip 30 business days before departure
