Dr. Dirron Allen Appointed to the NASPA Region III Advisory Board

Dr. Dirron Allen was recently appointed to the NASPA Region III Advisory Board for the 2026-2028 term. Region III of NASPA serves the needs of student affairs professionals in the Southeast. Specifically, the leadership of the NASPA Region III Advisory Board promotes meaningful contributions through conferences, institutes, publications, technology, networks, and other opportunities. Overall, the goal of this region is to provide purposeful activities for all student affairs professionals in this geographic area.

The current Region III Advisory Board says that they are very excited to have Dr. Allen join and continue to serve NASPA in this capacity. They say that his “unique experience, talents and commitment to student affairs have shined through the selection process”, adding that the contributions they foresee Dr. Allen making “will help shape and strengthen” Region III of NASPA.

Dr. Dirron Allen currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Student Development and Community Building. Dr. Allen says that this is a thrilling opportunity for him to serve, saying “I’m excited to represent JMU in this capacity”.
