Student Affairs Congratulates Kaylee Childs

Student Affairs congratulates Kaylee Childs on winning third place in the Multi-Page Publications category of the Steal this Idea award at the Association of College Unions International Conference. The Steal this Idea award is a marketing and graphic design competition and is a nationally renowned award that has hundreds of submissions annually. Kaylee, a student graphic designer for Student Affairs Communications and Marketing, won the award with her design for the 2024-2025 Impact Report on the Union at James Madison University.  

Kaylee expresses what winning this award meant to her. She states, “I'm so grateful to have won this award; it was a rewarding feeling to be able to bring Joe DeBord's vision for this report to life. Knowing that I was able to design something that highlights The Union's role and impact at JMU was so special to me because the space offers so much to students.”
