New eVA - January 2022 Update

As you all are aware the state pushed back the launch of New eVA to May 2nd. As a result of this date and how close it is to the normal end of fiscal year purchasing it will be vital to begin planning now, especially with the continuing supply chain issues.

Small dollar purchases need to be completed before April 25th but should be able to resume on May 4th. Larger dollar purchases will have longer lead times due to the time frame in which we will be allowed to post solicitations, and need to be submitted no later than April 18th. Below you will find a table with all key dates for New eVA at JMU that will be important to keep in mind. We ask that you communicate with others in your area that you order for. The sooner you can involve Procurement with your needs, the better!

If you have not already bookmarked our eVA Updates page, be sure to check this regularly as we will post updates here as we get more information from Richmond as well as questions from you, our end users. Also, if you are new to JMU or eVA, we have a communications archive page with all the updates we have sent out about new eVA.

Thanks to everyone in advance for planning ahead and remaining flexible as we transition from one platform to another under the state’s direction.
