Vendor Updates - COVID-19


 

June 15th Update:

Beginning on June 15th, our office will return to daily in-person operations for all Procurement staff members. For those that plan to visit our office or other departments on campus, please note that JMU requires face coverings to be worn while in buildings on campus.  

Deliveries to our office are being accepted per normal practices; however, suppliers may want to verify with specific campus departments before making any delivery.

This is an ongoing situation and may be adjusted at any time based on information provided by University Officials or as directed by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

 

March 23rd Update:

The office of Procurement Services remains open; however due to COVID-19 and recommendations to provide for physical distance and protect our staff, effective March 18, 2020 our in-office staff coverage is minimal while we are predominantly telecommuting.  We continue to provide services in a virtual setting, keeping our normal business hours of Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Beginning on March 30, business hours for all of campus will be adjusted to Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. 

Deliveries to our office are being accepted per normal practices; however, suppliers may want to verify with specific campus departments before making any delivery.

Questions are best directed via email to the appropriate staff member or team manager or to our general mailbox via email.  Email is your best option to reach us quickly; however, all staff members are regularly checking and responding to voicemail.
