Musu Kawusu-Kebbay
Not a new face to SPCE, but Musu Kawusu-Kebbay began her new role in supporting coordinator of academic partnerships, collaborating colleges and academic units across campus, including communications, marketing, data analysis, and program logistics and administration. Previously, Musts served in a role in SPCE supporting both Youth Programs and the Lifelong Learning Institute. We are so excited to have Musu’s skills and strengths in relationship building to help SPCE continue to grow in this area!
With an educational background in Biology and Healthcare Management, Musu’s career has spanned from data analysis, to supply chain mapping, all the way to maternal and child health and youth capacity development. As she harnesses various developmental and interpersonal skills, Musu looks forward to new challenges and learning opportunities in her new coordinator role. However, don't be surprised if you hear she's launching something in the fashion and design industry in 10 years. She has recently described her professional experience as "a social experiment studying 'How adaptable is Musu?'", however if asked today she would say the study is actually looking at how interests and skills will propel her further!

Bryan Brittle
SPCE welcomes Bryan Brittle as the Distance Learner Engagement Coordinator, specifically supporting students in the Adult Degree Program (ADP). In his role, Bryan will play a vital role in supporting the success of ADP students, most of which are remote learners, by serving as the pivotal connector with university resources, facilitator of orientation sessions, and through providing ongoing communication and engagement opportunities for learners. Bryan is a team member in the Dean of Student’s Office as well. This connection with the division of Student Affairs will ensure that ADP students are integrated within the University community.
Prior to arriving at JMU this fall semester, Bryan has over 15 years of experience in higher education, having worked in student services and information technology. He has held roles in academic advising, career coaching, user accessibility testing, and business analysis. Having held positions at Southside Virginia Community College, Southern New Hampshire University, and Advanced Technology Institute, Bryan’s passion is working with adult learners and helping them better themselves through education. He holds a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor’s in English Literature from Virginia Wesleyan University.
