Dustin is currently pursuing his Master's Degree in Sport and Recreation Leadership, with a concentration in Sport and Recreation, from James Madison University. This year, Dustin will take on the role of being the Volunteer Assistant Volleyball Coach for JMU Volleyball to broaden his experience and develop his coaching skills. He hopes to soon becoming a Collegiate Volleyball Coach. As a Graduate Assistant this past year for the School of Professional and Continuing Education, Dustin put in extensive work in researching JMU's role as an Anchor Institution and helping with Youth Programs for the surrounding Harrisonburg and Rockingham communities.

Q: What do you love most about JMU?

A: “I love the people the most. Everywhere you go, there will always be someone who will genuinely look out for you and be there for you.”

Q: Where do you see yourself professionally in 5 years?

A: “I would love to be a D1 Assistant Volleyball Coach." 

Q: What is most exciting to you about working with PCE?

A: “The work that we do. I love being able to be a force for good in the community. Also, I love the ability that I have to learn more – both about JMU and about our community.” 

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: “Big Sports Guy – volleyball, tennis, pickleball. Professional Netflixer. Card Games. Hiking.”
