Changes Coming for Tech Help
Information Technology-ComputingAfter the Spring semester, Information Technology will implement TeamDynamix as the replacement for Cherwell. TeamDynamix will bring a new ticketing system, which the JMU community will use to submit help requests, as well as what many departments will use to log the status of help tickets, access requests, and more. With this change, the IT Service Catalog will also be replaced, which will better streamline how you search for help within the Information Technology website.
Along with a new ticketing system, JMU will launch a new website that will house how most of the JMU community gets help online. Details are still being worked out on the user interface.
How can you help?
On Tuesday, January 27th, IT Training will host a TeamDynamix Feedback Session in their training lab from 3-4:30pm. We invite any JMU employee to sign up for this feedback session to help Information Technology better serve and configure this new system to better serve the university’s needs. You can enroll via MyMadison.
