New IT Service Catalog Needs Your Feedback

Information Technology-Computing

Last month, Information Technology (IT) announced service improvements as part of a project to implement TeamDynamix as a replacement for the existing Cherwell system for IT service management.  Planned improvements include updates to the IT website, a more efficient service catalog, and a more integrated knowledge base.

Next month, IT will offer employees an opportunity to provide feedback on the new service catalog through a series of focus groups, or “feedback sessions.”  Two sessions will be provided in-person at the IT Training Center in JMAC 4, and one online session is also being scheduled.  During these sessions, a member of the IT Training team will walk participants through the planned changes to the catalog and lead a discussion that will ask for comments on the service catalog navigation, completeness, look/feel, and overall design.  To register for a session, please visit MyMadison, click the Employee tab/menu item, and “Request Training Enrollment.”  The name/number of the course is “IT901 Service Portal Feedback Session.”

While TeamDynamix and the service catalog are in the early stages of implementation (go-live is planned for Spring 2026), you can see a sneak peek in the following video that will explain a bit more about the project and the catalog:
