Cambodia to Host International Gathering on Landmines & ERW

(Khmer Times) Back in March this year, then Prime Minister Hun Sen announced that Cambodia would host the “Global Conference on Assisting, Landmine and other Explosive Remnants of War Victims and Survivors in the context of Disability Rights” this coming October.
The announcement was welcomed by Juan Carlos Ruan, director of the Implementation Support Unit (ISU) and the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention (ISU-APMBC) of the Ottawa Convention.
