Landmine Explosion Kills Child and Injures Two Others in Al-Bokamal City

(Syrian Observatory for Human Rights) A child was killed and two others were severely injured due to the explosion of an old landmine in Al-Ma’area area in Al-Bokamal city.

Accordingly, SOHR has documented the death of 201 civilians, including 18 women and 53 children, due to explosions of old landmines, unexploded shells and bombs across Syria since early 2023. In addition, over 243 civilians, including 82 children and ten women, sustained various injuries.
