(The Phnom Penh Post) "The Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA) and Vallon GmbH – a German mine detector manufacturer – on April 25 co-hosted the opening day of the first regional-level workshop on finding effective solutions to locating landmines and unexploded ordnance (UXO) and to get a clearer understanding of the latest mine and UXO detection technology, in order to contribute to improvement of mine action operations.
The workshop ran from April 25-27 in Siem Reap province with the participation of experts and relevant staff from the mine action community, along with demining operators, NGOs, state agencies and international partner organisations…'"
