Graduate Psychology faculty and students honored at NERA

We are thrilled to congratulate Kaijie Liu (Assessment and Measurement), Dr. John Hathcoat, Dr. Yu Bao, and Hunter Castleton (Psychological Sciences - Quantitative Psychology Concentration) on receiving the 2025 Woollatt Distinguished Paper Award from the Northeastern Educational Research Association (NERA) for their outstanding work!

Their award-winning paper, “Can GenAI Score Ethical Reasoning Essays? Evaluating Copilot with Interrater Agreement and Rasch Modeling,” will be featured at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Annual Meeting as part of the Consortium of State and Regional Educational Research Associations (SRERA) Distinguished Paper Session #3 on Friday, April 10, 2026, in Los Angeles, CA.
