Kinesiology majors learn sports medicine, fitness in Australia study abroad
College of Health and Behavioral StudiesKinesiology majors travelled to Australia over the summer for KIN 481, the internship credit class that supports hands-on learning experiences in Exercise Science. Students worked with local agencies, including fitness centers and Australian Football clubs, to apply the knowledge they've learned in the classroom at JMU to real-world situations. They also explored Melbourne and Perth to experience the local culture. This year, a group of students even went skydiving!
