2020-21 BTC Calendar: Norman Jones III

Norman Jones III ('21) began his Madison Experience long before he started at JMU: both his parents are Dukes too. He credits them, his professors, advisers and key supporters — particularly scholarship donors — with pushing him to make the most of his college years. He said as much when he addressed attendees at the 2019 Stewardship Luncheon: “The financial incentive from you turned a tough decision into the best choice I’ve made. The scholarships you’ve given make students’ passion the determining factor, not the price.” Of course, his Madison Experience isn’t over yet. Jones, a junior Public Policy & Administration major, has assumed many leadership roles since 2017, his first year at JMU. Elected student representative to JMU’s Board of Visitors for 2019-20, this Honors student also serves as a student ambassador and leads numerous other important organizations on campus.
