JMU to recognize May 2026 graduates

James Madison University is pleased to celebrate May 2026 graduates.
Commencement ceremonies will be held Thursday, May 14; Friday, May 15; and Saturday, May 16 in the Atlantic Union Bank Center.
The university will confer 4,211 undergraduate degrees and 526 graduate degrees.
The top three most popular undergraduate degrees were health sciences, finance and computer science. The top three graduate majors were education (Master of Education), accounting (Master of Science) and speech pathology (Master of Science).
The commencement ceremonies are ticketed events. The full commencement schedule, and links to live streams of the ceremonies, can be found on the university website on the JMU Commencement Homepage.
Members of the local community should also be mindful of the increase in traffic in and around campus during commencement ceremonies. JMU appreciates the community's support and patience during this time.
