SUMMARY: Carole Nash, professor of integrated science and engineering, is leading a team of students and alumni in performing mitigation of the land that soon will be used for a parking lot. The removal of the material and analysis of the finds help the team figure out the land's history prior to the ground disturbance in order to build long-term connections between the site and the university.
