Student group works to counter extremism

Momentum, a student group, received $2,000 from the Peer 2 Peer Challenging Extremism Initiative sponsored by EdVenture Partners and supported by the U.S. State Department, National Counterterrorism Center. The money will be used to implement a business plan to deter people from joining extremists groups like ISIS or committing acts of violence. Read more about their plan on the Daily Duke.
