JMU Centennial Office Earns District CASE Awards

HARRISONBURG - The James Madison University centennial office is a finalist for top awards in two categories in district competition sponsored by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. 

The James Madison University Centennial, the entry of Fred D. Hilton, centennial director, and Debra Long, assistant director, is one of three Grand Award finalists in the CASE District III category for institutional relations programs. The centennial also is one of five Grand Award finalists in the special events category. 
The Grand Award winners will be announced during the CASE District III conference, which will be held in Atlanta Feb. 17-20. 

The JMU Centennial Web site, produced by Hilton, Long and writer Martha Graham, won a Special Merit Award in the overall Web site design and implementation category.
