JMU Ranks 22nd on Kiplinger's 100 Best Values in Public Colleges List

HARRISONBURG – James Madison University is ranked 22nd on the 2008 listing of the 100 best values in four-year public colleges as reported by Kiplinger's Personal Finance. 

Kiplinger's ranks public schools "that combine outstanding economic value with top-notch education" in its annual survey. Schools making the list were selected from a pool of more than 500 public four-year colleges and universities. Kiplinger 100 schools were ranked according to academic quality, cost and financial aid. 

The February issue of the magazine containing the 2008 rankings goes on sale Tuesday, Jan. 8.
