Families In Motion is an opportunity for families of preschoolers to be active together, while learning about the five dimensions of health and wellness: physical, emotional, social, environmental, and intellectual. The MBC partners with local preschool programs to bring engaging learning activities to their schools for an evening of movement education and fun, bringing families together to focus on health and wellness.
Goal: To support families in developing healthy habits through movement-based activities that engage multiple dimensions of health and wellness.
Who: Families with children who are connected to our local preschool programs.
When: One evening during the Fall semester
Where: At the preschool location
Cost: Free!
This program is not open to the public, but if you want to learn more about how to bring a program like this to your school, please contact the Morrison Bruce Center at morrisonbrucecenter@jmu.edu.
