2012 Student Employee of the Year

The Student Employee of the Year Program

Student Employee of the Year is a program to honor our top James Madison University student employees. Students are nominated from departments all over campus by submitting a nomination packet before the close of business on the deadline date below. The Student Employee of the Year committee evaluates the nominees and decides on a winner. The committee is made up of professional staff members from the Student Work Experience Center, Human Resources, Payroll Services and the Office of  Financial Aid & Scholarships.

The student employee of the year winner is announced during National Student Employee Appreciation Week, held April 8th-14th, 2012.  The winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship award and an awards ceremony with the two runners-up to recognize their achievements. The recipient of this award will also be submitted for regional recognition and possibly national recognition for their contributions as a student employee.  Please click here for more information on National Student Employee Appreciation Week.
