Logic Across the Disciplines conference coming September 13

The cross-disciplinary Logic Across the Disciplines conference will be held September 13, 2013 in Taylor 405 at JMU, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Six speakers will give accessible lectures on logic and legal reasoning, Buddhism and logic, quantum logic, logic and computer science, philosophy of logic, and logic and psychology. The conference is sponsored by the JMU Logic and Reasoning Institute (jmu.edu/philrel/logic-and-reasoning-institute.shtml), which oversees the new minor in Logic and Reasoning (jmu.edu/catalog/current/minors/logic-and-reasoning.shtml).

Interested undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and members of the public are welcome.
