JMU Faculty/Staff Picnic
Date: Friday, August 19, 2016
Time: Picnic begins at 4:00 p.m. and ends at 7:00 p.m. This time change is in response to many requests.
Where: The lawn behind the Festival Conference and Student Center
Parking: No parking permits will be necessary in C11, C12, C10, D3, and D6 lots between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19. Review the campus parking map for information.
Note that regular enforcement will continue in other parking lots, and guests may receive parking citations if parked in restricted lots. Guests are prohibited from parking in specialty spaces such as Service Vehicle spaces, handicap spaces without proper permit, or expired meters. They are also prohibited from parking in Fire Lanes.
Who: JMU faculty, staff, emeriti and affiliates are invited to bring their immediate family members (limit 5).
In the event of severe weather conditions, the picnic will be held indoors in the lower and upper levels of the Festival Center. The band will be relocated to the stage area in the lower level of the Festival Center.
