Picnic begins at 5:00 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m.

Music will be by The Christian Lopez Band (CLB).

The Christian Lopez Band is not merely riding the wave of Americana music, the West Virginia natives are bending it to its knees. With the will of his voice and the stomp of a steady beat, Christian Lopez and his band are pioneering their own brand of Alternative-Folk-Country-Rock.

At age 18, Christian Lopez was named one of the national "Modern, Southern Musicians" of the year and has performed at numerous pre-show national tours for the Dave Matthews Band, Tim McGraw, the Zac Brown Band, Blake Shelton, and has just finished production on his debut album with producer, Dave Cobb, in Nashville, TN, which will be released soon.  Lopez gained attention as a Hollywood finalist in seasons 11 and 12 of “American Idol.” Encouraged by feedback from judge Jennifer Lopez, who commented that she could feel the passion in his voice, Christian returned home determined to carve out a career in music founded on his love of singing, writing, and performing a style of music he felt in his heart, and has now brought to life.

The first addition to CLB was drummer Mike Silver, a longtime friend and superb young talent. Bassist, Dominic Valentine, was the next to join. Together, their combined vision and concentration began to manifest the songs and performances that are now a staple of Christian Lopez’s music. The addition of vocalist and banjo player, Chelsea McBee, rounded out the band’s sound adding luscious vocal harmonies and percussive banjo.
