VOED 383 OP01 Curriculum & Instruction
Course Description: The overall
objectives of this class are to provide participants with the
ability to develop the curriculum for their subject area discipline
and to effectively deliver this material in a classroom setting.
Students will be exposed to the following activities during the
course: material on how people learn; information related to
methods of motivating students; development of written lesson
plans; writing measurable objectives in the cognitive, affective,
and psychomotor domains; use of advisory committees to assist in
the curriculum; how to evaluate students; and understanding of
basic school law.
