Tori Bertram is an assistant professor in the School of Communication Studies at James Madison University. She earned her B.A. and M.S. from Murray State University and her Ph.D. at the University of Tennessee. Her research interests include relationships at work, new employee socialization, family farms, and memorable messages. She has published articles in Communication ResearchCommunication Studies, and Western Journal of Communication. She teaches courses in the organizational communication concentration as well as general communication courses. She is the proud parent of Mr. Knightley (cat), AJ (dog), and numerous plants.
