Master's in Educational Technology

To complete a Master of Education (M. Ed.) degree with a concentration in either Educational Technology or Educational Technology for PreK-12, you will complete 30-33 credit hours of course work. This will include core courses in education and in educational technology, as well as advanced courses. Thirty-three (33) credits or 11 courses are required for all students except those who are able to waive LTLE 675 Applied Research Design, by showing acceptable written evidence of meeting the course competencies.

In addition to coursework, you'll complete two key assessments during the program of study: a comprehensive review and an applied research project. In the LTLE 570 course you will create a portfolio to which you will add artifacts and reflections from each course, as part of the comprehensive review.

All courses and course materials are currently delivered in English using the Canvas learning management system. Courses are offered entirely online, from 5:45pm-8:15pm ET/EST/EDT on weekdays.
