Biography

Sarah began employment as a Gift/Biographical Specialist of Advancement Gifts and Records in April of 2011, and moved to Matching Gifts Coordinator/Student Supervisor in August 2011. In August 2013, Sarah continues her career in Advancement Information Services as the UA Training Coordinator.

Sarah’s responsibilities as UA Training Coordinator include developing training documentation and internal training of Advance. Sarah also develops and updates site help for Advance.

Sarah received her Bachelor of Art from Bridgewater College in 1996. Out of the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her two children. She enjoys hiking the local trails and spending time outdoors. Sarah also is a freelance graphic designer/photographer.

 


Gail Turner

System and Data Analyst

Biography

Gail Turner accepted the position of System and Data Analyst in May of 2012.  Her current responsibilities include data analysis support, data integrity clean-up projects, managing Advancement application support (help desk) and serving as support for data import (interface) efforts.

Gail began her career with JMU as the training coordinator for University Advancement in 2008.  Responsibilities in that role included writing training documentation, internal training of UA Employees and Affiliates as well developing site help for Advance Implementation.

In her free time, Gail along with her husband David, loves anything NASCAR and obsessing over their dog Winston.

Bob Wells

 Biography

Bob accepted the position of System and Data Analyst in April of 2014. His current responsibilities include data analysis support, data integrity and data import (interface) efforts. Bob joined JMU in September of 2012 as a Report Writer in the Reporting group. Before that he worked at the Central Intelligence Agency, Xerox, General Instruments and finally Intel.

Bob has 25 years of software development experience in the C, C++, C# and SQL programming languages. He also has 20 years of semiconductor process and equipment engineering experience.

Bob lives in Harrisonburg and enjoys rock and roll, astronomy, woodworking, photography, experimental electronics, camping and meeting new people.
