Biography

Debbie has been the Director of Quality Assurance in AIS since October 2005. Prior to joining AIS, she spent 10 years working for Merck & Co., Inc. as a software tester. Debbie is a JMU alum.

The QA Team is responsible for managing the import of data from large system interfaces, policing the data for anomalies, end-user application support and training.

Debbie has 2 children currently attending the JMU, one undergrad and one graduate student. Outside of work, Debbie enjoys exercising and spending time on her boat with family and friends at Smith Mountain Lake in southwest VA.

Biography

Gail Turner accepted the position of System and Data Analyst in May of 2012.  Her current responsibilities include data analysis support, data integrity clean-up projects, managing Advancement application support (help desk) and serving as support for data import (interface) efforts.

Gail began her career with JMU as the training coordinator for University Advancement in 2008.  Responsibilities in that role included writing training documentation, internal training of UA Employees and Affiliates as well developing site help for Advance Implementation.

In her free time, Gail along with her husband David, loves anything NASCAR and obsessing over their dog Winston.
