Dr. Williams teaches Issues and Trends in Inclusive Early Childhood Education, Effective Teaching in Inclusive Early Childhood Education and Inclusive Early Language and Literacy.

Dr. Williams’ research focuses on anti-racist and anti-ableist teacher preparation, inclusive practices in early childhood education, and disrupting microaggressions in P-16 educational settings.

Dr. Williams earned a bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Virginia, a master's of teaching in early childhood developmental risk at the University of Virginia and a doctorate in curriculum, instruction, and special education at the University of Virginia.
