Timler teaches School-age Language and Literacy Disorders, Autism, and Speech Sound Disorders 

Timler’s research focuses on social communication and language evaluation and intervention 

Timler earned a bachelor's degree in communicative disorders at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, a master's degree in communicative disorders at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a doctorate in speech and hearing sciences at the University of Washington.
