About Chess at Three:
For the past eleven years, Chess at Three has worked in schools and homes all over the world telling stories that transform chess pieces into a memorable cast of quirky characters that help children ages 3 - 11 learn and love the game of chess. Every Chess at Three lesson has a fun, interactive story that introduces not only piece movement and strategy, but important themes that go far beyond chess. Chess at Three students learn about sportsmanship, grit, and math, all through stories!
Story Time Chess - Beginning Strategy
Ages: 6 - 8 year olds
Dates: June 24th - 28th
Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM each day
Program Fee: $225
Get ready for giant spaghetti noodles, magical spells, and a very clever chess playing dragon! In this class, students will return to Chesslandia for more exciting adventures as we dive into point value, planning, and beginning chess strategy! This class is for returning students or students that already have a good understanding of basic piece movement.

Advanced Story Time Chess - Journey to Chesslandia
Ages: 9 - 11 year olds
Dates: June 17th - 21st
Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM each day
Program Fee: $225
Think... Harry Potter meets Chesslandia ... During this camp, students will join three brave siblings, Emiko, Gaya, and Floyd as they journey through the forgotten world of Chesslandia. On a mission to rescue their uncle, these siblings must use all of their chess knowledge to survive this now very dangerous land. Students will help our friends complete chess puzzles, learn new tactics, and master intermediate checkmate patterns along the way. Enrolling students MUST have a good understanding of how each chess piece moves and be able to play a full game.
