This exciting robotics camp is an advanced program designed for middle school students who want to push robots to the limits.  We’ll be using the latest EV3 robot from LEGO.  This platform is a significant improvement from the old NXT – you can control up to 4 motors and 4 sensors simultaneously.  The system has expanded memory, processing power, wifi, and Bluetooth.  These sensors are more accurate and they’ve added a gyro sensor that opens a whole realm of possible applications.  You’ll learn how to use all the sensors as well as advanced building and programming techniques from two JMU Physics professors – both long-time AFOLs (Adult Fans of LEGO) who use LEGO robots in their college courses.

Unfortunately, we will not be offering the Lego Robotics Camp this year. Please check back for the 2020 summer!
