TrueCrypt No Longer Maintained as a Secure Encryption Tool

The Institutional Review Board (IRB) originally recommended the use of TrueCrypt for encryption of identifiable data.  However, TrueCrypt publicly announced in June 2014 that the program should no longer be used and is not secure.
