Ballard Parking Deck Reserved on Wednesday, April 8

On Wednesday, April 8, the Ballard Parking Deck will be reserved for the inauguration ceremony of President James C. Schmidt. Parking in the Ballard Parking Deck for inauguration attendees will be allowed by special permit only. The ceremony is expected to generate increased traffic on roads throughout the JMU campus and surrounding area, including Reservoir Street, University Boulevard, and Carrier Drive.

Students who normally park in the Ballard Parking Deck to go to class are encouraged to consider alternative transportation on April 8, such as the Harrisonburg Public Transit system, and allow extra time to reach their destination.
