News

Important changes to parking facilities, restrictions and regulations for the 2020-2021 academic year:

Allocation change in East Campus Parking Deck:

114 parking spaces on the ground floor of the East Campus Parking Deck have been reallocated for commuter student use, bringing the total number of commuter spaces in the deck to 1,467.

Changes in R10/R11 Lots:

Due to the recent relocation of the Interstate-81 exit 245 ramp, R10 and R11 Lots, the parking lots on Port Republic Road adjacent to the interstate, have been combined and designated as R10 Lot. The prior entrance to R10 Lot, located across from Forest Hill Road on Port Republic Road, has been permanently closed. A new entrance has been created on Hunters Road to allow access to the lot.

Opening of Convo F Lot:

A new parking lot, Convo F Lot, has opened adjacent to the UREC Turf. The lot provides 22 additional spaces to commuters, residents and faculty/staff. Overnight parking is not permitted in Convo F Lot.

Partial Reallocation of R3 Lot:

Due to the opening of Foundation Hall, 60 spaces in resident parking lot R3 on Harrison Street have been reallocated as part of H Lot, the adjacent faculty/staff lot. Residents are prohibited from parking in H Lot from 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday. The remaining 74 spaces in R3 Lot, as well as 63 spaces in R17 and R18 Lots on Harrison Street, remain available for resident use 24 hours a day.
