Furious Flower Exhibit History Repeating Repeating Continues with Second Reception!

Notices

Join us on Friday, December 12th, 2025, 5 PM – 7 PM for an end-of-year celebration complete with hot chocolate, apple cider, and, of course, the opportunity to view our current broadside exhibit, History Repeating Repeating.

Curated by Furious Flower Program and Operations Manager Jazmin Witherspoon, this exhibit presents poetry as both record keeper and resistor. It invites viewers to slow down, bear witness, and recognize repetition, both historical and human. These selections challenge everyone to see beyond the poetry and locate themselves within the recurring cycles of conflict, fear, endurance, erasure, and remembrance.

This exhibit is hosted in partnership with the Arts Council of the Valley’s First Fridays Downtown Art Walk.

The Furious Flower Broadside Gallery is also open to the public Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM.

In addition, the Furious Flower + JMYutes relief drive for Hurricane Melissa has also been extended to December 12th. Please bring new and lightly used clothing, food, water, OTC medicines, and other survival supplies to Cardinal House (500 Cardinal Drive, cor. Duke Drive, Paul St., and MLK Blvd).

Parking will be available in lot R1 beside the baseball field.

We look forward to seeing you!
