Important changes at the University Health Center


 

In support of JMU’s efforts to promote the health of our campus community regarding COVID-19, the following accommodations have been made to the University Health Center’s medical services:

  • All visits to the UHC now require an appointment. Online scheduling is no longer available, so please call 540-568-6178 to make an appointment. Please note that non-urgent services are being limited.
  • If you receive allergy shots from the Allergy Clinic, you may contact us to arrange for pick-up of your serum or to have it shipped to you.
  • The UHC Pharmacy is open 10 a.m. – noon and 1 – 3 p.m. Monday - Friday.

In addition, the Well is closed until further notice. The staff is telecommuting and remains responsive to emails and voicemail messages during our regular business hours. Please note:

  • If you are seeking advocacy services, please contact Jackie Hieber, Lead Advocate via one of the following options:  
    • Email hieberjm@jmu.edu and please put Advocacy in the Subject line.
    • Voicemail Message at 540-568-6251; Jackie will be checking voicemail regularly.
  • Reflections appointments are not available at this time.
  • The Lavender Lounge is closed – as are all public spaces in SSC.
  • All programs through April 5 are cancelled.
