Hart School professor honored as alumni scholar
Hart School of Hospitality, Sport and Recreation Management
Joshua Pate, associate professor at the Hart School, has recently been recognized as the Sport Studies Doctoral Alumni Scholar for 2018-19 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Pate earned his Ph.D. in Kinesiology and Sport Studies at UT in 2012, and his research focuses on disability sport, the experiences of individuals in sport and sport communication and media. He will travel to UT to deliver a public research presentation, provide guest lectures in courses and meet with students and faculty on Feb. 13-14, 2019.
