We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Virginia Tech to offer an accelerated Masters through a 4-and-1 program! After completing a CS degree at JMU, our students can transition to a one-year path for a Masters of Engineering (MEng) in computer science and applications (CSA) from Virginia Tech.
This opportunity is ideal for computer science sophomores and juniors who are interested in pursuing an advanced degree. You can work with the CS Advisor to create a four-year plan that will maximize the opportunities of this partnership. Applications for the Virginia Tech MEng program are due March 1, 2021, and interested students are invited to attend the VT Information Session on Friday, February 19th from 1-2 pm.

The partnership fulfill the state’s Tech Talent Investment Program: universities across Virginia have committed to graduate about 31,000 new computer science graduates over 20 years to help fill a critical workforce need in the state.
