SUMMARY: The College of Education welcomes Kimberely Hundley to the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team


Kimberley Hundley received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from James Madison University in 1984 and her Masters of Science Degree, from Regent University, in 1999.  She became Nationally Board Certified in 2010. 

Ms. Hundley taught kindergarten for over 36 years for Williamsburg/James City County Public Schools in Williamsburg, Virginia, retiring in 2020.  She was also a cooperating teacher for teacher education candidates from JMU and William and Mary. While employed with Williamsburg Public Schools, Kimberley held several positions throughout the division, such as Minority Engagement Advocate for Williamsburg Public Schools/Diversity trainer for staff, Staff Development Trainer, president of the Teachers Association, and an Executive Board member. Kimberley is the recipient of the Williamsburg Teacher of the year 2004, Williamsburg Foundation Grant Recipient 3 years in a row, and Williamsburg reading teacher of the year 2018. Kimberley is a board member of Stonehouse Presbyterian Church Preschool and a church leader for Sunday school youth ages 5 -12 at Jamestown Christian Fellowship. She is CPR certified, and active shooter trainer certified.  Kimberley Hundley 'a proud member of the Ole School Alumni Group for 17 years and counting,' is tasked by the College of Education and will be recruiting in the Williamsburg area, starting November 1st
