The College of Business is proud to announce that US News & World Report has ranked JMU’s MBA program number 26 in the nation on its 2021 Best Online MBA Programs list. To develop rankings US News & World Report utilizes a variety of data including career outcomes, technological infrastructure, academic rigor, cost and student qualifications.

JMU’s MBA programs offer full time working professionals the ability to earn an MBA while taking classes with a small, diverse cohort of about 30 students. MBA students enjoy the benefits of having both online and in-person class sessions.

MBA program director Matt Rutherford said, “We are pleased to be ranked as one of the top online MBA programs in the nation once again. In the past year, our program has grown; however, we remain committed to student engagement by having small class sizes, frequent interaction between students and faculty and a cohort model that allows students to build a network. It is a pleasure to work with our talented students, and we love to see how the JMU MBA program aids them in their progression in their careers and personal lives.”
