Students who took top 4 spots in 2018 Internal Sales Competition

On September 25th, the JMU Center for Professional Sales and the Professional Sales Club co-hosted the 5th annual Fall Internal Sales Competition. 

More than two dozen competitors were scored and judged by representatives of the 15 corporate sponsors of the JMU Center for Professional Sales. 

The format had students participate in 15-minute role-plays attempting to ‘close the deal’ for corporate partners TEK Systems Services. 

Morgan Burks, Alex Cole, Nate Gross and Melissa Hadley took the top four spots and earned the opportunity to compete and represent JMU at one of three national intercollegiate sales competitions later this fall. 

During a networking dinner following the competition, all the participating students had a chance to chat with members of TEK Systems and learn about career opportunities—and resilience.
