New CoB Faculty at 2017 Faculty Orientation

SUMMARY: JMU's College of Business welcomes new faculty and staff for the 2017-2018 academic year.


This fall, JMU’s College of Business (CoB) welcomes nine new full-time faculty members and two new, visiting full-time faculty, who bring rich experiences as teachers, researchers and practitioners to share with students. The CoB also welcomes three new part-time faculty and a new assistant director of the Academic Success Center. Additionally, an employee from the IT department has been hired to teach a class in computer information systems (CIS).

New full-time CoB faculty:

  • Jim Storey, Hart School of Hospitality, Recreation and Sport Management
  • Ruiari Walsh, management (visiting professor)
  • Nicole Wright, accounting
  • Weiwei Zhang, finance (visiting professor)

New adjunct CoB faculty:
