Nicecream Factory, owned by JMU alumns Sandra Tran and Gil Welsford, was recently featured in CNN’s Eatocracy as one of the coolest new ice cream shops in the country.

Nicecream Factory began as a pop-up business, selling its treats at local farmer’s markets and restaurants.  Now, Tran and Welsford have set their corporate roots in Arlington, Va, where customers can purchase Nicecream treats made fresh right in front of their eyes.

At Nicecream, the ice cream is made-to-order with local ingredients and liquid nitrogen, providing a product and an experience that is unlike any other.

The College of Business congratulates Tran and Welsford for this achievement.
